April 2013
Installed a $10 timer for the main pump, which turns the system into a flood and drain, or ebb and flow. I have the timer set for 30 minutes of fill and 15 minutes of drain. The basil seems to be doing much better and the tomatoes are hanging in there as well. I lost a couple of fish last month, I added two air stones to increase oxygen content and no loss of life yet. I hope to add a couple more grow beds and another fish tank next month.
